Porch FM is happy to present our current feature artist, Soft Resistors, from Ontario, Canada. Founding members Mike Fuller and Jason Lambert have been playing music together for over 15 years, starting under the band name Atticus, while attending university in Ottawa, Ontario. At the end of university the members headed in different directions to pursue other adventures. In 2008, Mike and Jason reconnected in central Ontario and started efforts to reform under the name of The Del Mitchums. Though keen to regain momentum, additions and subtractions within the band lead to the need to rebrand.
In 2015, Soft Resistors was rebranded with Darryl Weeks as lead vocalist, Mike Fuller (drums, synth and vocals), Jason Lambert (synth, guitar, bass and vocals), Derek Hicks (synth, guitar, bass and vocals), and Heather Fuller (vocals). With the devastating passing of lead vocalist Darryl Weeks on February 10, 2019, the band understandably took time away to heal. Rumour has it Soft Resistors are back in the jam space. We look forward to hearing their talent resurface.
